Hanchett
Hanchett Manufacturing was founded in 1889 by John Hanchett after he invented a hand swage for band saws. This tool led to the manufacture of some of the finest saw filing machines and tools ever produced to enable thousands of saw filers to maintain mills worldwide.
Hanchett produces state-of-the-art machines to enable modern saw filers to meet the more demanding challenges. Saw filers must maintain much tighter tolerances when providing the band saw or circular saw to their sawmill. All parts machined and assembled in the Hanchett plant are quality control inspected. Hanchett is an employee-owned company and located in Michigan.
